A fun light hearted song on how we all feel getting ready for Pesach.
Sandy’s Ark tells the story of the aftermath of a devastating meteorological event, but the most long lasting result of Hurricane Sandy will ultimately be, not the loss of property or the miles of destruction, but the unwavering spirit of New Yorkers, both Jew and non-Jew alike, who rose to the challenge put forth by the superstorm and came out in force to support each other in their time of need.

Composer, and writer Cecelia Margules, who continues to churn out one inspiring musical gem after another, is hard at work on her latest eagerly awaited project, a heart wrenching beautiful video production of her stirring song Let Us Build.
The song, an uplifting musical tribute to the city of Jerusalem and its residents, originally appeared on New Sinai Sound, a thirteen song album containing an astonishing display of musical compositions set to powerful lyrics that touch the soul.
Inspired by a video about rebuilding the world’s holiest city at a Jerusalem Reclamation Project dinner approximately ten years ago, Margulies co-wrote Let Us Build with composer and arranger Rami Yadid. The song, replete with stunning visual images serves as a breathtaking backdrop to the video, amplifying the powerful message conveyed by both the lyrics and the music, sung with passion and exuberance by the legendary Michael Elias. A former lead singer for Chill who spent many weeks at the top of the R&B charts as well as a former missionary, Elias knows firsthand the unique power of music, having been turned on to Judaism while touring with Shlomo Carlebach after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1989.
Produced and Directed by Danny Finkelman of Sparks Next Productions, Let Us Build is the story of unbreakable bond between the Jewish people and Jerusalem, showing Jews from all across the religious spectrum making their way to Jerusalem’s Western Wall, the Kotel Hamaaravi.
“The Kotel is a unifying force,” explained Margules. “Every type of person comes to the wall and we all stand there talking to G-d, giving our messages, our papers, our entries. It is a special place that despite our differences, brings us all together.”
